M. Makers and Players - Puppet Theater Art: Animal Kingdom

 

From zebra puppets to lion puppets, using puppetry “art in motion” children explore the Animal Kingdom. Make your favorite characters come to life and jump off the page.  Using a wide variety of puppet making materials including hand and stick puppets, cloth puppets, paper mache and other materials, children's imaginations develop a voice and a presence.  We learn about story structure and character, we create, direct, and act out stories from the animal's native habitat.  We play silly, zany theater games as characters roar with laughter while developing confidence and speech.
 

 

Dismissal / Pick Up Based on the DOE Schedule:
Approximately 2:35 -3:00pm check-in, 3:00 -3:30pm homework and games, 3:30 – 5:00pm class, Gr. K-5 Pick Up 5:00.  $40 fee for 5:30pm pick up unless enrolled for the Extended Play option.
